These merino wool socks are made with Prolen® Siltex yarn containing silver which reduces bacterial growth on the skin and acts as a natural deodorant – useful for those long, hot days spent outdoors trekking. The structure of the fibre as well as air channels built into the socks ensures that moisture is quickly drawn away from the skin, so tired feet stay fresh and dry all the times.
The socks have a longer, non-compressing cuff which can be turned over the top of the boot, and a comfortable flat ‘Rosso’ seam above the toes, so you can be assured that your feet will always feel comfortable. And the three-layer profiled terry fabric protects and cushions the feet, so you know your feet will be shielded from abrasions and shock from sudden movements when walking.
These trekking socks are designed to fit the individual left and right feet due to the individual shaping of the terry and the knitted material around the contour of the toes. The knitted Y-shaped material in the heel along with the crosswise ribs on the bend of the foot ensures the socks fit well and feet are stabilised.
Lycra® is used throughout so they stay upright and grip the leg firmly without compressing, and elastic bands around the mid foot also helps keep the sock in place, just what you need when going trekking.
